Tagliatelle al Limone
Buy a fresh, homemade pasta, or prepare your own tagliatelle. The thick bands of pasta are the star in this dish and a dry pasta simply won't achieve the same result. The fresh pasta and this luxurious sauce will be a certain winner with your family or dinner guests.
Ingredients
- 500 g tagliatelle
- 2 lemon (about 2 tbsp of zest)
- 150 g crème fraiche
- 1 glass sparkling wine
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- 50 g salted butter
- Parmesan cheese
- salt
- parsley a few sprigs
Instructions
- In a large pot of salted water, cook the pasta (about 5 minutes) until al dente
- Juiice the two lemons and zest one lemon
- In a pan melt the butter and lightly sauté the lemon juice and the lemon zest from one of the lemons
- Add the wine (taking a swig from the bottle is optional but recommended)
- Add the crème fraiche and stir until fully incorporated
- Remove the pasta and drain
- Add the drained pasta to the pan and stir to coat the paste
- Roughly chop the parsley
- Plate the pasta and sprinkle on some parsley and grated parmesan
- Enjoy
